The little mister has the yucks so we've been hanging around the house an abnormal amount recently! He got over a cold and 3 days later came down with a different one, all while teething some K9's and potentially 2 year molars.... I can't really get a good look before he bites me. Little vampire. SOO that means, I'm close to stir crazy. I NEED PEOPLE. I need adult conversation. I need fresh air! Today I got out of the house for an hour and a half for a doctor's appointment. I treated myself to Starbucks... and it was a moment of non-snotty nose bliss.
In between Barney, snuggling and wiping Parker's nose, I learned to sew fully lined A line dresses as well as cute pants! When you add a ruffle to the bottom of the pants, the dress + pants becomes a super cute outfit! Those have been fun projects and I really look forward to getting my serger machine in (hopefully next week!) so I can continue to make them but with professional, snazzy seams! :) Here's a sneak peak:
Next on my list... nursing covers, more fun burp cloths and cute bibs.... man does pregnancy flip on my creative light bulb! Well, tonight the light bulb is officially OFF and I'm hitting the sack early!

AMAZING, Taylor!!! You're quickly earning the title of my most talented friend!!! :) Great job - the outfits are beautiful & I can't wait to see what you do with the tissue globes. They're whimsy & fun - two words I would also use to describe YOU! Love you & so excited for Avery's birth.
ReplyDeleteI am so jealous of your craftiness. Those paper balls are adorable, and I'm sure Miss Avery will love her new clothes!
